Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS) is a critical technology in reducing greenhouse gas emissions from energy and industrial sectors. It involves capturing carbon dioxide (CO₂) from major sources such as power plants, refineries, and manufacturing facilities, compressing it, and transporting it to secure underground geological formations for long-term storage.
CCS directly mitigates environmental impacts and is recognized globally as one of the most viable solutions for hard-to-abate industries like oil and gas, petrochemicals, and steel. It is also a key enabler of blue hydrogen production, supporting the transition to cleaner fuels.
At Growoil, we are actively investing in CCS across our operations. Our approach includes identifying safe and stable storage sites, designing efficient CO₂ transportation infrastructure, and implementing rigorous monitoring systems to ensure project safety and long-term effectiveness. We view CCS not just as a compliance tool, but as a strategic pathway toward a low-carbon, responsible energy future.
